The book titled, “Kashmir Archeology “makes mention of our archeology treasures and monuments, besides other few wonders what are scattered all along in this glorious valley of the land. It provides an inside look of our ancient sites and settlements, besides their present state of affair.
The book gives history and archaeological description of many historical towns and sites of the land students of archeology architecture and history in particular and people in general are expected would find something new in this publication.

Iqbal Ahmad born in village Parigam Check (South Kashmir) is working in Sri Pratap Singh Museum as guide lecturer. He presently lives at Mir Lane Athawajan, Srinagar Kashmir. After graduating in Arts from Kashmir University he did his PG Diploma in Numismatics from Indian institute of Research in Numismatic Studies Nasik Maharashtra. Besides the first numismatist he is learned archeologist and writer.
He started his writing career in 1985 while contributing articles to various newspapers and journals. Archeology and tourism are his favorite fields.
